Tony Jeffries, Olympic medalist boxer breaks down everything known about the fight and gives his prediction on who wins Fury vs Joshua. Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua get real credit here. Joshua signed his contract insisting the fight stay in Britain, even turning down more money to fight in America instead. Both men looked less impressive in their last fights than they did in recent years. Fury struggled to close the show against a 46 year old opponent in Thailand. Joshua had to climb off the canvas multiple times before finding a knockout against Tristan Panga in July. Fury has always been at his best moving, using his jab, height, and reach. His legs haven't looked as mobile in recent fights though, raising real questions about whether that's still there at 38. Joshua wants to come forward and close the distance to land combinations. Doing that against a heavyweight brings real risk too, since Fury only needs to land one clean shot Joshua doesn't see coming. Tony has believed for years that Fury beats Wilder, Wilder beats Joshua, and Joshua beats Fury. After watching both men's last performances, he still picks Joshua to win, though he says that prediction could easily change once training camp actually begins.
